Simon Power Visits

Today at 10.30am we had a visit from our local Member Of Parliament. Simon Power spent about 45 minutes with us. First he met with staff and a representative of our Board of Trustees and then he spoke with our senior class for about 20 minutes. The class enjoyed hearing about what Simon does in the Rangitikei and in parliament itself.

Many thanks for the visit Simon – you are welcome anytime.

  1. Dear St Matthew’s School,

Thank you for having me and my staff to visit on Monday 30th April.
I enjoyed meeting you all and found the students I spoke to in the senior class,
very well prepared, with wonderful ideas and opinions on current news topics.
Best of luck for the remainder of 2007 and I look forward to seeing you again.

    Kind regards,

    SIMON POWER
    MP for Rangitikei
