The end of year hurdles is currently being run. It is a multidisciplined event involving jumping, ducking under and general clearing any hurdle put in your way. Some are put there out of necessity. Others are tasks created because someone started a tradition previously. Yet others are because I am new at St Matthew’s. I am starting to get near the end of this year’s race.
Here are some photos of different things we have been into recently.
Angus won a bike for his efforts during school banking.
Year 8 leavers dinner.
Year 8 retreat day visit to Edale Rest home.
Junior nativity presentation.
Nestle Environmental classroom is constructed in three weeks.
The new playground goes in over five days.
And that is just part of the busyness at St Matthew’s. Still to come – end of year prizegiving and final year’s mass.
